Garage Sale Sally Submission Policy

We know how hard it is to find the time, the energy and the good weather to hold a garage sale. Instead, just: (1) send us a picture, (2)full description, the (3)*shipping weight, the (4)price you want for it, your address and (5) zip code. We do the rest.

When you submit an item for Sally to sell online, you are responsible for and attest to the accuracy of your representation of each item. Descriptions must be honest, price should be fair, and shipping should not exceed normal dimensions. I will put my commission on TOP of your asking price, so be gentle! Please discuss all concerns with Sally, via BEFORE agreeing to display your items. The key is to take more than one photo of each item; Sally will size to suit.

*Please package the item carefully and weigh so each customer will know the shipping charges from your zip code to their zip code. The end customer pays for shipping, but if there is an overage of cost, the seller will absorb. You will be expected to ship your item within two business days after sale & to notify Sally that the package is on the way; confirmation receipt number from USPS or tracking number from UPS is required.

Garage sale items are defined as: almost any items which you would normally display for a garage sale at your home. Examples: home decor items, vintage items, children's items, collectibles, potato chips with an image of Brad Pitt - and a thousand other items that I might never think of! Please consider expense to ship, as that will be a large factor in the final price. Local pickup can be specified for large items. Almost anything qualifies - remember the adage: one man's junk is another man's treasure- but keep shipping in mind. Please be very honest about the condition of your items. We're not looking for bottom dollar items - unique will sell every time! And our intention is to keep usable items OUT of the local dump.

If you agree to let us sell your items and accept any conditions pertaining to individual items, the following fees could apply to your item:

My commission will be placed on top of the price you are asking. I will normally round off to the nearest dollar, but my commission is based on a reasonable return. My commission is subject to review on any item submitted, but it will be fair.	My commission is small and it pays for the fees charged to accept credit cards and for maintaining my site. Please set your price carefully - I will do the same.

Fees will be deducted from final payout. Final payout to seller will be paid through PayPal, via money order, or check once buyer's payment has been received. All buyer's checks must be processed before payout is released, but most sales are credit and take about two days, so you can expect to have your payment in hand within one week of a sale. I will notify you of any delays, and trust you to do the same for me. I reserve the right to cancel a seller's rights if repeated delays or problems are encountered.
